Renaissance Surgery Research
'Doc', and his co-author Scott Crawford travelled to England in August 06 as part of the "Bramble Amble", a whirlwind tour of London & Southern England. Several days of the trip were devoted to research for their upcoming books on 16th century trauma and surgical care.
Because much of the research for the books involves rare circa 16th century primary source surgical texts, 'Doc' is having some texts from his personal library transcribed. These electronic texts are now available free of charge via this website. Click on "Renaissance Surgery" below to see the titles currently available.
